After my first week of getting this blog up and running I realized today I have made a butt imprint on my recliner! Which I’m sure is not helping my body be healthy either!
Since I am a strong believer in small changes over time are more affective, productive, and last longer than major changes overnight this is my plan….
As soon as I post this I am going to get up out of the mold I’ve made in this chair and play tennis on the wii! My goal is to make a point to do some sort of physical activity each day from now on- even if it’s only for 5 minutes (hey 5 mins is better than none for starters!) And then we’ll go from there!
Also, in evaluating my eating habits I realized my body rarely gets breakfast. And since that is one of the most important meals to a body’s metabolism that needs to change. Even if it’s just a banana, a bowl of cereal, a bagel, etc. Each person is supposed to drink at LEAST 8 cups of water a day, that’s 64 oz of water. Awhile back I experimented by buying a 32 oz water bottle to see how much water I actually drank in one day- not to my surprise there were days I didn’t even drink 32 oz! So that is the next goal.
So that’s the plan, small and simple as it may be: at least 5 mins of exercise a day, eat breakfast, and drink 64 oz of water each day.
Doesn’t sound too hard! Who’s with me?!?!?
