A to Z for Moms Like Me LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We are a small family business, not a data company. We do not sell your information, and we never will.
Who we are
A to Z for Moms Like Me LLC is a homeschool curriculum company. Our website is www.atozformoms.com. You can reach us any time at atozformomslikeme@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you join our email list. Your email address, and your first name and state if you give them. We ask for your state so we can send you news about homeschool laws and funding programs where you actually live, instead of sending you everything about everywhere.
When you place an order. Your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and phone number if you provide one. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processors and are never stored on our servers.
When you contact us. Whatever you choose to include in your message.
Automatically, when you browse. Standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it
- To send you the free printables and newsletters you asked for
- To let you know about homeschool laws, funding, and programs in your state
- To process and deliver your orders and provide support
- To understand which pages and products people find useful, so we can make better ones
- To meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations
Services we use
We use trusted third party services to run the business. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy:
- WooCommerce and PayPal for orders and payments
- Mailchimp for our email list and newsletters
- Google Analytics to understand site traffic
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and Pinterest advertising pixels to measure our ads
- OptinMonster for signup forms and popups
- Akismet for spam filtering
- ClassWallet, Odyssey, and similar education savings account platforms, when you purchase through them
If you purchase through an education savings account platform, that platform shares order information with us so we can fulfil your order and invoice correctly. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, which govern how they handle your account.
Advertising
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Those platforms may show you our ads based on your activity, and our pixel tells us how our ads performed. You can control this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and through your browser or device privacy settings.
If you sign up through a form inside Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the information you submitted on that form so we can add you to our email list.
What we never do
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not rent or trade our email list
- We do not share your information with anyone except the services above that we need to run the business, or where the law requires it
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes. We keep email list information until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Your choices
Unsubscribe at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list.
Ask to see or delete your information. Email us at atozformomslikeme@gmail.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will respond within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason.
Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the shop may not work properly if you do.
Children
Our products are made for families, but our website is intended for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced to our email list.
