ok this is a recipe we always use for camping/dutch oven because it’s super easy, tastes great, and only needs 3-4 ingredients! It’s so good and easy that I make it at home too.
This is also another recipe that’s easy to make with your food storage since all the ingredients are shelf-stable.

You can make it with any other fruit you like- and it works with canned pie filling, or just a can of that fruit!
Here you go:

1 can of fruit or pie filling
spread it out in the bottom of a Pam sprayed casserole dish or dutch oven.

1 box of cake mix- any flavor
sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit

1 can Sprite or 7-up
pour over the dry cake mix, and using a fork or spoon lightly mix with the cake mix until most of it is wet- careful not to go all the way down to the fruit!

Sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg (optional) on top

Bake at 350 for about 40 mins or until done.

Serve with a little vanilla ice cream- and YUMMO!
