Another Pinterest idea I got- here’s her original idea.  The original one was in a mason jar- which to a canner like me seems like such a waste! So I used cello bags instead.  (I actually love cello bags and have a drawer full of them for things like this)  Then since I wanted to give these to the principal and office lady as well as their teachers I changed the saying from “have you as my teacher” to “learning from you this year”.  I just printed the saying up on the computer, cut it out, put a colored paper behind it, and attached it to the bag with some star garland.

It was a hit! 2 of my kids’ teachers have already asked me for the recipe- which isn’t anything special in my opinion, but a lot of people really enjoy these cookies.  You can see the recipe here.  I usually just throw things in a bowl and rarely measure stuff so that’s as close to a recipe as I have.
