This is what happens when you combine missing clips, a squirrel in the engine and a Labrador.  Since moving to AZ we’ve had a few adventures of rural living! We woke up one morning to our dog barking like crazy and when I looked out the window this is what I saw!!  She had pulled the front end off my husband’s car!  It actually looks worse than it was.
Upon inspection we found that the front end was being held on by one little clip at this point.  Luckily we had some screws and clips on hand that worked to fix it and it wasn’t a complicated fix with any permanent damage.

Adventures of rural living!!

This was what happened a few days after we moved here.  This case of oatmeal was left on our porch with a bunch of other boxes that we hadn’t brought into the house and unpacked yet.  Well a Javelina (similar to a wild pig in looks at least) came up to our porch and got into it making this mess and giving me a good scare!

On the bright side, there have also been fun things we’ve come across and enjoyed doing.  For example the kids keep catching lizards!  They also learned the hard way that our dogs will kill lizards.

We’ve heard all sorts of scary stories about rattlesnakes and scorpions which I’m not looking forward to dealing with this Summer 🙁  Let’s hope the dogs keep them at bay!
