Complete Homeschool Curriculum for Kindergarten: What You Need
September 15, 2026True story…
We had a full garden going.
Tomatoes growing
Plants thriving
Harvest right around the corner
And then…
We had to move 😅
Months before everything was ready to harvest.
So we had two options:
Option 1:
Leave the plants behind
- No one would be there to water them
- No harvesting for us
- No tomatoes
Guaranteed outcome: nothing
Option 2:
- Load them up
- Move them
- Replant them
- Hope & pray some survive
Even though…
They were mature
They might not survive
It might not work
Very uncertain outcome
So naturally…
We loaded up a trailer full of plants like crazy (but determined)people 😂
(Tomatoes in the trailer… tomatoes in the back of the Expedition… probably a few rolling around somewhere)
And hoped for the best
The result?
Not all of them made it…
But enough did
We ended up with a decent harvest
And here’s the lesson
Sometimes your choices look like:
“Definitely nothing”
Or
“Maybe something”
And “maybe something” is almost always worth the effort
Homeschooling can feel like that too
- Trying something new
- Switching curriculum
- Changing your approach
Not knowing if it will work
But doing nothing?
That guarantees no growth
Final Thought
Not everything you try will succeed…
But some of it will
And sometimes…
