This animated movie is one that had even my husband and I laughing.  The movie is narrated in a style that is like someone is reading a book to you and you’re watching it play out.  The narrator says what others are thinking/feeling.  The characters themselves do little to no speaking.

The basic rundown of the story is: a little boy finds a magic necklace that makes a magical tea cup and it’s driver appear.  The tea cup takes the boy to a few different places where he has adventures as he tries to figure out how to get back home.  While at some of these places he meets some friends including a vain girl penguin that is being wooed by both a polar bear and a male penguin.  The humor as things happen and each is still trying to make a good impression on her is entertaining to watch!
My kids liked this movie and wanted to watch it again.
