They gave me this balloon that said:

“Home is where your mom is”

And I smiled…

But also paused

Because that’s a lot, isn’t it?

To be the place your kids feel safe

The place they come back to
The place that feels like home

Not the house
Not the walls

You

And here’s the part we don’t talk about enough…

That role isn’t built in big, perfect moments

It’s built in the everyday

• The meals
• The conversations
• The hard days
• The ordinary routines
• The car rides
• The chores done together
• The small acts of kindness for each other
• The jokes that become ongoing and memorable
• The family vacations
• The movie nights
• The meals shared at the table

The showing up

Homeschooling doesn’t just teach your kids

It places you at the center of their world

And that can feel like pressure sometimes

But it’s also…

A gift

Final Thought

You don’t have to do it perfectly

You just have to be there

Because to them…

You already are home
