Annual Funding for Homeschoolers: $2,000/year for homeschool students
Annual Funding for Private School Students: ~$10,474/year (85% of statewide average); up to $30,000 for students with IEPs
Platform: Odyssey
Eligibility: Texas K-12 students who are U.S. citizens/nationals; first-year priority to siblings of enrolled students, then disability students at ≤500% FPL; 274,000+ applications in the first window (Feb–Mar 2026); ~96,000 award notices issued May 2026

Current Status
The first application window (Feb 4 – Mar 31, 2026) is now CLOSED. If you applied and received your award notice, you’ll be able to start spending funds on July 1, 2026. If you missed the first window, an interest list is now open for 2027-28.
