Hobo Dinners

AKA Tinfoil dinners.
This is a recipe we make a lot when we go camping because you can throw each persons pouch into the fire and cook it there- it’s easy clean up too!  It’s an easy way to use up leftover hamburger patties and veggies.  You could even do this without the meat and make it a vegetarian meal!

Get 2 squares of tinfoil and lay them on the counter cross-wise for best coverage (it’s especially important to use AT LEAST 2 layers if you’re cooking it in a campfire)
Set 1 hamburger patty (or some ground beef) in the center of the tinfoil
Top with sliced potatoes, and your choice of veggies.
Season as desired- I usually use Worcestershire and garlic powder.
sprinkle cheese on top (optional)

wrap the tinfoil up to the top making a pouch

If baking at home- bake at 350 for 1 hour or until veggies are cooked.
If cooking in the camp fire, pull one out occasionally and check it for doneness
