Have you ever had a grilled Peanut Butter and Honey sandwich? The odds are probably not high that you have since I’m pretty sure it was my mom that invented them! Recently while I’ve been nursing I’ve been on a huge peanut butter & honey grilled sandwich kick so instead of mixing up the combination each time I made a sandwich I created it’s own container that it could be mixed up ahead of time in a larger amount. Not so much a great idea as a necessity for time saving as often as they’re being made around here!
To make it just combine 50/50 peanut butter and honey then mix together. I used a peanut butter container that was already half gone and just added honey to it then put on my own label. Now I just refill that when it’s getting low.
For the grilled heavenly deliciousness that is Peanut butter and honey grilled sandwich just spread the pb & honey mixture on your bread, combine two slices making a sandwich, then butted the outside slices and grill it.
I’ll see if I can get a picture of one of the sandwiches next time, but they’re so amazing they usually disappear quickly!
The sandwich will be gooey with the warm peanut butter and honey…. and oh so delicious!!
